Who Am I?
This is how everything started.
It started with me being born surrounded by languages. At home, they spoke Spanish and Galician. German came along in kindergarten, and English was soon to follow. The first cornerstone had been laid. The second one came when I was three years old — my mother taught me how to read.
A close friendship was forged between reading and me. Doing so in different languages broadened my horizon even more. The words of others awakened in me the desire to create my own. And imagination was something I never lacked. The circle of friends gained a new companion: writing.
What started as a hobby became a job that fascinates and fulfils me. Each translation opens up a new world, regardless of topic or genre. Each project is a challenge through which I learn on a personal level.
Some prefer to specialise and limit themselves to only one type of translations. But miss out on all the richness that diversity has to offer? No!
